The key insight

Most AI projects fail not because the algorithms are wrong, but because the infrastructure beneath them is not production-grade. The diagram above shows why this path mattered: each layer removed a class of failure modes that would have made the next layer impossible to operate reliably.

The theoretical foundation from LIP6/CNRS in 2016 — multi-agent coordination under incomplete information — is now deployable at enterprise scale precisely because the Cloud Native, data platform, and MLOps layers provide the reliable substrate it always required.
